Hydro Excavation
Hydrovac excavation is the process by which high pressure water is used to break up dirt and material. This material is then vacuumed up into a truck via hose and brought offsite to a proper disposal facility. It’s become more popular than traditional digging methods in recent years, because it is more efficient and accurate, among other benefits.

•Lower Risk for Damage - Other digging methods use sharp metal tools that can puncture pipes and create a bigger problem. Hydro excavation doesn’t use metal tools which lower the risk.
• Less disturbance - Hydro excavation is a precise process that does not bother the area around the excavation site, so you can complete the job in less time.
• Safer for workers - With traditional digging methods, you need a person in the trench to guide the equipment. With hydro excavation, both the equipment and workers can be distanced from the excavation site.
• More cost-effective - Because hydro vacuum excavation does not require as much labor and restoration as other methods, it ends up being cheaper for you.

Clarifications
• 4 hour minimum required
• Broadview Services Inc. is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Local 181.
• 811 dig tickets for Broadview Services are included if applicable.
• Projects with excavation require 72-hour scheduling notice.
• Rates exclude emergency call outs.
• All rates calculated form port to port unless otherwise negotiated.
• Dump site provided by owner unless otherwise directed.
• Dump site may be provided at additional fee.
• Excavation, hauling, and disposal of contaminated soils/materials is excluded in rates.
• Holidays include the following: Decoration Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,
the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
• Rates effective until April 1, 2026.
